
Si Taylor is a U.K. based singer/songwriter...he's been around a while!
Musical influences range from Soul, Blues & Pop through to Folk & Americana.
Live performances are raw and passionate, drawing inspiration from the likes of
Bruce Springsteen and Gram Parsons.
He records and performs both solo and with a band.
Si was born into music: his father is British pop pioneer Vince Eager
His early career saw him fronting Nottingham U.K. originals band Splash! and latterly Kicking Giants. The band gigged & toured extensively and made TV appearances, plus a BBC Radio One session for Janice Long, as well as demo sessions for E.M.I, Arista and Island.

Si's also spent many years in the music industry, playing, tour managing and in live production & events.These days, alongside writing, recording and performing original material, Si plays in Midlands U.K. covers band The Boutones.
In early 2020, during the first pandemic lockdown in the UK, Si recorded an original acoustic E.P.‘Big Love & Other Stories’[all live & one take], with all profits going to East Midlands charity Forever Stars.
It can be streamed/downloaded on all the usual digital platforms.
In early 2021, the ten tracks were remastered, along with an 11th song [a cover of Neil Young’s ‘Harvest Moon’],and were released as a 50 limited edition CD, with the profits once more going to the Forever Stars charity.You can buy the physical album here
Family aside, music remains Si’s greatest passion.
